What Can YEG Do For Me?

Whether you are ready to begin work immediately, need help to get to this point or sit somewhere in between, the YEG programme may be for you.

No matter how ready you are to begin work; how qualified or experienced you may be; or how confident you may feel, you’ll have access to a wide range of services to suit your needs and circumstances.

Throughout your time on the programme you’ll be supported by a qualified, experienced and friendly advisor who can provide you with advice and guidance or simply lend a sympathetic ear. When you join the programme you’ll also have access to funding which can be used to pay for a whole number of things, so long as they help improve your chances of securing employment or help when you move into employment.

You’ll also be able to use a host of online tools available from the YEG website, which can be accessed from your PC, tablet or smart phone. Amongst other things, the website will give you access to a whole host of resources that you can use to look for and apply for jobs, gather information about job and apprenticeship opportunities, manage any funding you are given and much much more.
